Dry season (November–May): The water flow is lower, but the river often takes on a striking turquoise color, and conditions are ideal for rowing and photography.

Reaching the Waterfall by Lancha
One of the most memorable ways to experience Cascada de Tamul is by rowing upstream in traditional wooden lanchas. Working together, visitors paddle against the current through the canyon, gradually approaching the base of the waterfall. At lower water levels, it’s sometimes possible to swim or relax near the base of the falls, always depending on current conditions and safety considerations.
